Extremely disappointing experience with Watties Pergolas. Based on my experience, the workmanship delivered fell well below the standard that was represented and expected for a professional contractor. The project was initially presented as approximately a two-week job, yet it extended beyond five months and, at the time of writing this review, remains incomplete. Throughout the process there were repeated issues with communication, including unanswered calls and messages, lack of updates, shifting timelines, and a general lack of accountability regarding outstanding work. Construction projects can face delays, however delays do not excuse poor communication, lack of responsiveness, or failure to manage client expectations. Clients rely on contractors not only for workmanship but also for professionalism and transparency. I am sharing this review to document my experience and to ensure that prospective clients can make informed decisions. I strongly recommend that anyone considering using this company ensures that all scope, timelines, deliverables and quality expectations are documented in detail before proceeding.
