Tumishi Electrical was established in 1997 by MPA (Peter) Maraka.

Tumishi is a level 2BBBEE contributor. We have been involved in electrical installations and infrastructure projects since 1997. In our years of service we did major projects in Hospitals (Theaters, Wards, admin blocks, etc …), Schools, Clinics, filling stations and Commercial installations. We did meter readings and cutoffs for Eskom and Polokwane Municipality. We did a lot of conventional to prepaid meter conversions, meter audits and we now involved in the new smart metering technology. We were part of Eskom project: meter changes (Magnetic readers to keypad sts). We have built large underground MV and LV infrastructure networks including Substations, mini-subs and switching points.

We have electrified over fifty villages and townships for Eskom and Municipalities. We have installed fibre optic cables for Neotel in four towns, we installed our first solar power plant with Siemens in 2001, and we have modified and installed new High Speed Direct Current Circuit Breakers for Transnet. Our experience goes further to supply and installations of HVAC systems, Motors and control gear, industrial laundry and kitchen equipment. We are accredited DSTV installers, we provide services to Multichoice, Sentech, Global access (ABSA Bank), ADSAT (Vodacom). We do insurance repairs, we provide services to izinga access (Standard bank).
