juwi South Africa is part of the international juwi Group, one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies. Our business is focused on deploying the highest quality Solar Photovoltaic and Onshore Wind energy projects.

We offer Project Development (Wind & Solar), Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services while being recognised leaders in off-grid hybrid solar-wind-thermal-storage energy solutions.

To date juwi South Africa has built six utility scale solar plants totalling 207 MW under the Government’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Programme (REIPPP) and also develops and bids wind projects under the Programme.

juwi South Africa also develops, designs and constructs large embedded and remote (wheeled) renewable power projects that deliver cost competitive electricity to a range of commercial and industrial end-users.

juwi has close relationships with most of the leading commercial lenders and independent power producers so is able to faclitate funded solutions for clients.

We work together with our extensive partner network to implement renewable energy projects economically and reliably, thereby delivering best value renewable energy projects in sub-Saharan Africa today.

Finally, juwi has a strategic relationship with the Reatile Group and is a leader in transformation in the energy space in South Africa.  Reatile owns 43% of juwi’s O&M subsidiary.
