A variety of reinforced plastics processes are used by the manufacturers of these products, including gelcoating and laminating, hand lay-up, spray lay-up, filament winding, centrifugal casting and pultrusion. The type of product determines the choice of production method, and a considerable investment has been made in developing the skills to accomplish this. Materials used include unsaturated polyesters, DCPD polyesters, epoxies, vinyl esters, phenolics and hybrids thereof. Reinforcements include glassfibre as well as carbon and polyaramid fibre and combinations of these.

Pressure Vessels, Process Equipment & Storage Tanks

Size range: Up to 6000 mm diameter Liquid storage and process tanks, Reactors agitated and non-agitated, electrowinning cells, pressure and vacuum vessels, Scrubbers and mist eliminators, filters and evaporators, Special process equipment.

Pressure Piping & Fittings

GRP (Glass fibre Reinforced Plastic) piping and fittings, dual laminate thermoplastic and fluoroplastic piping and fittings. Thermoplastic and fluoroplastic lined piping and fittings lined with PVC-U, PVC-C, PP, PE, PVDF, ECTFE, FEP, MFA & PFA lners, overwrapped with GRP.

Ducting & Fume Stack Systems

Ducting for vacuum and pressure applications, Stacks and chimneys – self and separately supported Fume extraction hoods, Pressureless damper valves, mist eliminators and knock out vessels

Lining Systems

GRP and resin mortar monolithic formulations, fluoroplastic and thermoplastic materials.
