Products

All products manufactured by Alglasico conform to SABS 0400 Part N Glazing specification. With the Alglasico sliding door the door openings should be prepared to the required size and the sliding door be fixed in place. (The Alglasico sliding door should never be built in). After the door has been installed plaster up to the outer frame and wash off plaster stains from the aluminium with a soft cloth, soap and water.

Some special features:

• Aluminium extrusions are anodised to 25 microns. Available in natural, bronze or powder coated finish.
• Door panels are completely reversible.
• Alglasico sliding doors are glazed with SABS approved special safety glass.
• Special long life rollers ensure the smooth glide action.
• The aluminium extrusions are designed to accommodate wool pile to ensure that the sliding door is drought resistant.
• Each door is fitted with a threshold to protect the door.
• Night latches can be fitted as an added safety precaution.
• The Alglasico sliding door can be coupled to sidelights without a coupling mullion. Installation instructions are supplied with every door.

We manufacture a standard range of projected top hung open out windows.

Some special features:

• Maximum sash size: width 600mm height 600mm.
• All dimensions indicated are normal opening sizes.
• Deduct 10mm for actual overall window size.
• Windows 1800mm and wider get 900mm vents.
• P4TT windows get 600mm wide vents.
